Dental Clinic Patient

Teeth are important to personal appearance and chewing efficiency. Overall general health is enhanced by healthy teeth and gums. Preventative dentistry can help you keep your teeth for a lifetime. Take advantage of the services offered at the Augusta Regional Dental Clinic. For a nominal fee, you will receive quality dentistry. (Fee does not apply to children enrolled in the “Smiles for Children” program).

Services Offered

• Preventative Dentistry (Teeth Cleaning, Fluoride Application, Sealants,
  Oral Hygiene & Nutritional Counseling)
• Restorative Dentistry (Fillings)
• Extractions (Limited Surgical)

Services not provided:

• Dentures or partials
• Crown and bridge work
• Orthodontics (braces)
• Extensive Oral Surgery

Who is Eligible?

The Dental Clinic has established eligibility guidelines as follows:

1. You must have no dental insurance (except for Medicaid/Famis/Famis Plus)
2. You must live in Staunton, Waynesboro or Augusta County (or be qualified as a voucher supported patient from the Clinic’s extended area, and present a valid Virginia drivers license or DMV ID showing your current home address
3. Your household income must fall within our guidelines
4. Working, full time student, or temporarily unemployed (Registered with Virginia
Employment Commission), retired or on social security disability, full time caregiver or, stay at home parent*
5. Provide most recent tax return and proof of income for the previous month

 

Proof of household income (includes spouse & all blood relatives living in the household) for one month. Examples of household income are:

• Pay stubs for the previous month or letter from your current employer which states hours worked per week and hourly wage
• Pay stubs from the current employer for spouse& all blood relatives living in your household
• Food stamp/TANF Award Letters
• Social Security checks
• Disability checks
• Unemployment checks
• Current bank statement if you have direct deposit
• Proof of Pension
• Proof of child support income
• Most recent 1040 (tax return) including Schedule C if self employed
  For self employed, current tax forms plus most recent P&L statement

Non-Medicaid and Non Voucher dental appointments at the Augusta Regional Dental Clinic require advance payment in full (based on household income schedule).

We are not a walk-in clinic – you must have an appointment. Your eligibility must be up to date to make an appointment.
