The Clinic needs volunteers. Both professional health care providers and lay persons alike can assist the Clinic in providing medical, pharmaceutical, dental and health-related services to the low income, uninsured, working population of Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta Co.
Everyone can help in some way. Not only does it take Doctors and Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Specialists, Dentists, Dental Assistants and Hygienists, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians, but also it takes individuals who can work administratively.
The Clinic is looking for willing persons who can assist with patient registration and exit, scheduling, eligibility screening, health education, data entry, and so much more.
Hours can normally be arranged to fit every schedule. Some volunteers choose to work an 8-hour day, while others prefer 2 or 3 hours on a Thursday evening. Some volunteers work once a week, others once a month. Whatever fits into your schedule, know that you will help make a healthier today and tomorrow for the uninsured in our community.
