Providing Dental Outreach In the Community
We work closely with each of our local elementary schools to promote good oral health to our community's children. Our "ORCAS" (Outreach, Resources, Care and Prevention, Assessments and Sealants) program provides education on a variety of topics, from proper brushing techniques to smart food and beverage choices for dental health. In addition, students receive sealant and fluoride treatments, and Dental Clinic staff dentists perform on-site screenings to assess whether further preventive and/or restorative dental work is needed. All of these services are provided at no-cost to the students and schools.
